| Tarantino’s masterwork follows the misadventures of a brutal, yet likeable criminal gang. Their objective, a diamond heist that goes wrong in every conceivable way. We have Mr. White, an old school gangster, who’s sense of honor seems out of place in this day and age. Then there’s Mr. Orange, a likeable newbie whom Mr. White mentors. Then, of course, Mr. Blonde, a sadistic, yet loyal soldier for Big Joe, an old gangster strangely out of step in this new criminal era. The lives of these criminals collide in surprising and tragic ways, creating a beautiful glimpse into the criminal underworld most of us will never see. This movie is humorous, tragic and above all an entertaining must see. |
